Outpatient Specialty Services
The Outpatient Center at Children’s Hospital of Richmond offers a wide variety of outpatient physician specialty services which join physician specialists and nurse practitioners who provide coordinated, interdisciplinary care.
Clinical, diagnostic and therapy services are all available in the outpatient setting, allowing patients to come for an evaluation, therapy sessions and/or related services at the same location, on the same day. Many therapy services are also offered at community-based Therapy Center locations in Glen Allen, Midlothian, Fredericksburg and Petersburg. In keeping with the hospital’s philosophy of family-centered care, physicians, nurses, therapists and staff who provide care in the outpatient setting emphasize input from family members in goal-setting and decision-making while providing a continuum of quality patient care.
