Pediatric Specialty Services
The pediatric specialty services offered at Children’s Hospital are as vast as they are specialized. Our wide range of programming illustrates our commitment to continually growing to better serve the needs of children.
Care is provided by an interdisciplinary team of pediatric experts who work closely with family members in a continual effort to provide the family-centered care that is a hallmark of our philosophy. From small personal touches to advanced equipment and treatment, everything we do is designed with children in mind. Our staff is attuned to the special needs of infants, children and adolescents, creating a warm, friendly environment filled with developmental childhood activities, including therapeutic play and community outings.
Care is provided on three levels: inpatient, day patient and outpatient. Progress between the levels of care is determined on an individual basis, based on treatment goals unique to each child.
How to Access Our Services
To facilitate the admission process for children, parents, health care providers and insurers, we have a Patient Services Department that serves as a single focus for all clinical and financial assessments. We also have Case Managers who serve as liaisons for families ensuring high quality, cost effective care as patients transition through all levels of service. Our case management staff assists with insurance and reimbursement issues, daily scheduling, discharge planning, locating resources and much more.
