Icon Campaign

A special campaign to benefit Children’s Hospital

Children’s Hospital’s Icon Campaign is a fundraiser designed as a community service project for any business, group or organization that is looking for a fun & easy fundraiser. 

This campaign was devised and is managed by Children’s Hospital Foundation which leads the philanthropic programs that are designed to support the on-going needs of Children’s Hospital.

Our Children Icons
These paper icons are 5½ inch circular discs (pictured above) and they are available in two different colorful designs. Each icon represents the variety of children that are seen at Children’s Hospital on a daily basis.

The icons can be displayed on walls, on the ceiling, on the counters or in other creative ways throughout your location.  By displaying these icons, they serve as a great way for you and your customers to raise awareness and funds which benefit local children in your area who rely on Children’s Hospital for services & support.

How does the Icon Campaign Work?
It’s easy and it requires little time on your part.  All you need to do is follow these simple steps:

  • Determine how many icons you think you can sell within a 3-4 week period based on the number of people that frequent your business on an average week and let us know the number of icons you will need.

  • Place the icons in a visible location and inform your customers that with each $1 donation for an icon, 100% of the donation will directly go to Children’s Hospital to help local children in their area.

  • After a customer has purchased and signed an icon, display them in your location to increase awareness of the campaign.

  • At the conclusion of your 3-4 week campaign, we will arrange for the donations to be received and if you need any additional icons during this time period, we will supply you with whatever amount you need.

    Ways to maximize your campaign
    Have fun with your campaign and help children in your local area at the same time by implementing the following:

  • Create excitement by offering incentives to top icon sellers at your location.

  • Provide a coupon to each customer who purchases an icon to promote your business.

  • Encourage friendly competition between locations for creative icon displays or highest fundraising totals.

  • Use as employee incentives for office fundraisers such as Jeans Day, Community Involvement and Public Relations.
