Bike Safety

Riding a bike is loads of fun. Use your head and follow these simple rules of the road.

  1. Always wear a helmet.
  2. Stop at signs and red lights. Wait at yellow and go at green.
  3. Ride on the right. Always ride your bike on the right side of the road.
  4. Stop at intersections. Look both ways for any oncoming cars.
  5. Two hand steering. Always keep both hands on the handlebars.
  6. Don’t wear headphones. You need to hear cars and sounds around you.
  7. Learn and use hand signals. Let others know what you’re going to do.
