Bike Safety
Riding a bike is loads of fun. Use your head and follow these simple rules of the road.
- Always wear a helmet.
- Stop at signs and red lights. Wait at yellow and go at green.
- Ride on the right. Always ride your bike on the right side of the road.
- Stop at intersections. Look both ways for any oncoming cars.
- Two hand steering. Always keep both hands on the handlebars.
- Don’t wear headphones. You need to hear cars and sounds around you.
- Learn and use hand signals. Let others know what you’re going to do.
