14th Annual Bunnies for Babes

Saturday, March 27th

Join us on Saturday, March 27th for the 14th Annual Bunnies for Babes and watch a unique parade of Corvettes when members of the Corvette Club of Richmond bring stuffed bunnies for patients at Children’s Hospital.

The car parade will begin 1:00 p.m. at the main entrance of Children’s Hospital.  More than 50 classic and new model Corvettes will be present.

VA Air National Guard Retirees Association Charity Golf Classic

Friday, April 23rd

The VA Air National Guard Retirees Association Charity Golf Classic to benefit Children’s Hospital Foundation will be held on Friday, April 23rd at The Tartan Golf Club in Weems, VA.

This tournament will feature the famous fans of the Washington Redskins - The Hogettes, featuring Howiette and a Foursome of Hogettes. We are looking for participants and hole sponsorships. Registration is $65 per person or $260 for a foursome.

4th Annual Fredericksburg Health and Safety Day

Wednesday, March 10th

Sponsored by Children’s Hospital and Food Lion, Health and Safety Day is geared towards Pre-School and kindergarten aged children from public, private, and home schools in Fredericksburg, VA.

Children will spend their time visiting interactive booths learning about various age appropriate health and safety issues, including fire safety, nutrition, information, and dental hygiene.

The event will be held on Wednesday, March 10th from 10 a.m. to noon at the Fredericksburg Field House, located at 3411 Shannon Park Drive, Fredericksburg, VA 22408. For questions, contact , special events coordinator, at (804) 228-5827.

This event is free and open to the public. Interested families and school/civic groups should download a registration form and register by mail by March 2.

8th Annual Connections 2010 Fair

Join us on Saturday, April 24th from 9:30am to 12:30pm at the Children’s Museum of Richmond for the 8th Annual Connections 2010 Fair.

Children Fore Children Golf Tournament

We are excited to report the Virginia State Golf Association has placed our Children Fore Children Golf Tournament on its calendar of statewide amateur youth events. For more information about the VSGA, please visit their website at www.vsga.org.

Our Children Fore Children Golf Tournament is an annual youth golf tournament sponsored by the Senior Board of Children’s Hospital, and will be held on May 15th at The First Tee in Chesterfield, VA. 

Golfers between the ages of 8-17 that have some golf experience are eligible to enter.  In addition to the tournament, Children’s Hospital is partnering with area golf professionals who will offer instructional clinics for adults and children during the day of the tournament.

American Family Fitness Celebrity-Am Charity Golf Tournament

Thursday, June 24th

American Family Fitness will be teaming up with former NBA star Cory Alexander to host its Celebrity-Am Charity Golf Tournament at the Hunting Hawk Golf Course.

8th Annual American Family Fitness 5K/10K

The 8th Annual American Family Fitness 5K/10K and Kids Mascot Mile will be held on Saturday, October 9th at 9am on the Children’s Hospital grounds.  Be sure to check back as registration information will be coming shortly.
