Based in Richmond, Virginia, Children’s Hospital of Richmond is a private, nonprofit hospital that serves children from birth through the age of 21. As a specialty pediatric facility, Children’s Hospital’s services center on the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions ranging from chronic illness to recent injuries.

We are currently one of the largest providers of pediatric rehabilitation therapies in the Southeast offering programs for Physical, Occupational and Speech/Language Therapy, Assistive Technology, and more. Our medical services include a wide range of specialty outpatient services in areas that include Children’s Feeding Program, Dental Care, Multidisciplinary Programs, and Outpatient Rehabilitation. We offer a 47-bed inpatient unit focusing on Transitional/Specialized Long-Term Care, Therapy Centers in Richmond and Fredericksburg, and a history of providing quality health care that spans over 85 years.

An interdisciplinary team of pediatric health care experts - physicians, therapists, nurses, psychologists and case managers, among others - is available to care for children.

Families are active partners in patient care teams and we encourage families to be present as much as possible to create a comfortable atmosphere for our patients. Care is exclusively tailored for infants, children and adolescents - our staff of pediatric experts creates a warm, friendly environment as they address each child’s medical and developmental needs.
